Wall garden...incredible!

I just stumbled onto this site and this idea is so incredibly simple, cheap, and easy. I'll see if I can copy a pic but this is the site:

cute - but I have to ask . . . . .

How do you water all those pop bottles?

Man that would take me more time then it is worth?

and around here when it get windy (like now) I think they would be banging around to much?

Watering would be pretty easy. Just get a garden hose with a mist sprayer nozzle and fan across the bottles. I'd drill a drainage hole in the bottom/side of them though.

Way too cool!

We can no longer say we don't have room for gardening, how creative.

Cool! Thanks for bumping this! How did I miss this the first time around?

(this might be the perfect way to grow a bit of lettuce that the snails & slugs can't get to . . .)

I decided to give this a try...no soda bottles but I have a square water bottle. Andrea, I put in some of the New Zealand spinach seeds you sent me. We'll see how they do.

I agree Martian and I love the fact that it grows itself without any interference from me! I'm putting it out front now and using it as ground cover beneath my rose bushes. We'll see how it works!

Martian, I would think that it would be a great crop to grow for poultry. Do you feed it to your quail? And do you think chickens would like it?
