Midnightmom
I was reading through some old threads and came across a discussion about the safety of leaving jars in a cooled canner (lid on) overnight. What if the lid has been removed and the jars are left sitting in the water inside the canner? I must admit I have done that a time or two. The WE2's
I've seen videos on several pro's and con's ... I'm betting Violet will have the best recommendation :-) Personally, I only let the canner sit for about 5 minutes "after" it's cooled down enough to lift the lid. Why? Just to let the inside of the canner sort of "acclimate" to the kitchen's temperature before I start lifting them out. Whatcha say Violet? Quote Link to comment
