Annarchy
We made it above 100 yesterday. Yet, they forecast is predicting 70's next week. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
Hot today. We got a new thermometer, cause the old one is over 50 years old and has survived temps over 120 many times. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
Very nice new thermometer! Not so nice temperature. 1 Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
The new one is now 108* and the old one says 111*. Yeah, it is summer here. Quote Link to comment
The WE2's
The rain in our state has ceased...for the time being. Quote Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Wow.....you have been getting pounded for a while in MO. My friend in the central portion said they weren't getting the flooding in their town, but lotsa rain for a while. We had a gorgeous day....windy but sunny and cool enough to be safe for me. Annarchy
Extremely windy today. Yuck! Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
Spring must have sprung here. It's after 11:00 pm and it's 81 degrees. Supposed to be 86 tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
Ambergris
Not miserable hot here yet, but hot enough to notice. Getting one or two cherry tomatoes every day for breakfast. They're by the door as I leave in the morning, so I just pick them on the way to the car. The milk and wine lilies bloomed out one stalk and dropped it, and are now in full bloom on a second stalk! Jeepers
We got up to 89 degrees today. That sounds so much cooler than 90 degrees. 2 Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
It was in the 90's when I left AZ and mid 80's when I got here to TX. Very windy all the way. Just missed a dust storm, thank God. 1 Quote Link to comment

Annarchy
Wow CG. I worry about the microbursts. They do as much damage as tornadoes do sometimes. Windy and in the mid 80's here. Quote Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Lots of snow....melting nicely.... MtRider but COLD! Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
It's only 50 degrees here today. It was 89 two days ago and 50 today with a small thunder shower. Let the migraines begin. Quote Link to comment
The WE2's
Only one word needed for the past 3 days...HOT! Quote Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Our Rocky Mt region might be sending some of our ...ahem, cooler...weather. I'm not sure we got above freezing for the past two days. Sun did melt a lot this morning but was cloudy all aft. Lot of snow still in the trees. But hey...the roads/driveways, parking lots are clear. So it's good! Greeeeen grass now. Needed a drink. But wow....it was COLD to be out in it today. MtRider Quote Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Just had to mention ....DH saw 12 DEGREES at 5:00AM this morning.... Sun out and trying to warm us up... 31 degrees at noon....where the sun hasn't quite reached the porch thermometer. MtRider ....that's a bit much even for Springtime in the Rockies. Annarchy
Quite a drastic change in weather in different regions. Mt_Rider is freezing and we are boiling. We are now, above 100, on average, daily. Trying to keep enough water on the yard to keep it green. Quote Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Aiiieee, Annarchy. I used the Doppler radar map to see when Koa and I would dart out to do evening chores. Pummeling gropel shower was followed by a brief respite. We were just wrapping up when the rain [that hadn't quit but was light] got much harder and began turning white. Yep, got several more inches of snow last nite. Which is fine since the driveway/roads remain melted and snow/ice free. But it just isn't warming up during the sunny....well ok.....HALF sunny days. Always enjoy a lot of moisture to avert wildfires. Pond is at flood stage....we have melting snow and rain. And MtRider ....throws snowball at Annarchy to cool her off! * Edited May 23, 2017 by Mt_Rider 1 Quote Link to comment

Jeepers
Lovely sunny sky today today. Radio said it was 73 but my computer says it's 55. I'm leaning toward the 73 being correct. Either way is fine. It's nice. Quote Link to comment
The WE2's
Cloudy, high 66 or so. Didn't hang the laundry outside, in case it rained. 1 Quote Link to comment
