Snowmom Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Once again it is Wednesday instead of Monday, from the looks of it, there are appointments on the next few Mondays, so not sure when I will post next week. ********** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swimming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ******** These will be counted as 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ For the week of August 24 – 30, I am saying I did 32 miles. ********* Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Snowmom, Last week I was with MIL. I pulled weeds each day about 3 hours. I got some quick movement in, running away from the ants that kept attacking me, does that count? Sitting on my duff, scooting along, pulling weeds, was ideal for the little buggers to scurry up my pant legs. Stupid ants found the grill I pulled out and prepared for dinner, and when I brought out the food, they promptly covered my feet! I had to move the grill another yard or so away from that area and they left me alone. Unfortunately, I have a moto, "they leave me alone and I leave them alone, they bite me and the war is on", needless to say, they all got a generous portion of poison. Weeds 5 days, miscellaneous walking around MIL's house, I'd venture to say I managed 3 miles. Quote Link to comment
