A new tv show

I really couldn't think where to post this...

There is a new show on one of the country channels ( I think it's GAC or something like that) It starts in the first week of January. It's called Off the Map and it features Shannon Doherty and Holly Combs. They travel around small towns in the south. One of the first episodes was shot on the lake I live on. A fishing guide friend of ours took them fishing etc. on the lake last summer for the show. I think they also went locally caving with someone else. He said they sure weren't country girls, but they were nice and not snooty acting at all. Watch for Lake Guntersville, Alabama. He said they had a nice time but who knows how it will be edited.

The show is on right now and will rerun at 10:30 cst.

So far it is pretty realistic except for the first 5 minutes when they pull a joke on them. Our friend was the guy running them on the boat on the lake but they don't show his face. I have eaten at the restaurant they stop at. It is pretty good food.

They start off at Guntersville then they go to Cullman at a shooting range. Now they are in Elkmont at a goat cheese factory. I've been there too. I was hoping they would show more outdoor stuff but it is only a half hour show and they are squeezing alot in.

Ambergris it is a beautiful area. We have lakes. mountains, rivers, caves and great people...no beaches though. I love it here.
