I buy our bacon from Zaycon, and have found there is no "cooking ahead to freeze" in this house.....if I cook it, someone will eat it! We keep at least 9 pounds in the freezer, uncooked, at all times, though. Quote Link to comment
Ambergris Posted June 26, 2016 Share Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) My first order of Zaycon bacon is due July 9. My problem is my son keeps throwing the bacon in the freezer. He's home for the summer, but when I want bacon, I only have time to cook it--not thaw it and then cook it.
