I made some Banana Nut bread Jam in '09 and about the top 1/2 inch has turned brown but it tastes fine and we are still kicking! Quote Link to comment

Violet Posted June 7, 2012 Author Share Posted June 7, 2012 Oh, their tip was just about leveling the sugar off when you measure it. Yes, use bottled lemon juice. It is actually safer to use anyway, since it is normally stronger in acid than the fresh lemons. Quote Link to comment
