DH says the members from his forum are going to drive him here. They already have people scheduled to get him through KY. It is truly interesting and amazing watching people volunteering to drive him to meet up with the next driver.

That is an awesome story. I've heard of people doing that for dogs in need too. Simply awesome. You must be so excited!

So do I, Ambergris.

Gunny is being moved to the clinic to be nurtured and vaccinations on Wednesday.

We don't know about his past. All I know is he is 3 years old.

DH keeps asking Grrr if he want a buddy. Maybe Gunny will help Grrr with his separation issues. Anytime either one of us leaves, Grrr gets anxious. If we both go, he howls. Wooooooooo. When we return, he acts like we've been gone forever.

I'm sue things will go well with the two dogs. :) I so agree that dogs do feel hurt and bad when they are left alone. On the other hand, we have boarded Minnie so much she loves going there. Every Tuesday morning she knows she is going to see her friends. :) This is bad though at times. She is so excited to get there and she is just as excited when we come to take her home later in the afternoon.
They do get use to things and they know when things are not like they should be.
Thank you so much for saving this beautiful dogs life. :) Please put pictures in after you get him home and after he has been there a few days. :)

Here is a picture of Minnie watching the deer out back. :) I'm not sure if I have shared this before or not. :)

Poor Gunny had to go back to the vet, he got kennel cough.

They are setting up transportation now. We are coordinating to see if I will need to pick him up in TX. I'll need to move my MIL trip time line.

The retired Marine will call us later with the details.

Now I am getting nervous excited. :bounce:

Grrr just got his 3 year shots and license yesterday, so they will be on the same schedule.
