Hello again from Dorset, England

Luath

Recommended Posts

Just popping in to say hello - I used to be Lowander on here, many years ago, and have re-joined as Luath. Have seen a few names I still recognise!

There have been huge life changes for me in the intervening years, and in the next couple of months I will be leaving Dorset and heading back up over the border home to Scotland, on my own. Life won't be that easy, but I remain optimistic and am looking forward to getting stuck into things on my own. Self-reliance is still right at the top of my list, and I'm going to be looking for a place where I can put it all into action . Exciting times for me.

Hope all are well, I'm looking forward to joining in again and reading and learning. Off for a catch up now :)

Hi, Welcome back, My father always said his family came from Scotland ( he passed away while I was still young so I never got to find out the truth of it, my mother said it was probably one of his funny stories! ) But anyway I love Scotland, such a beautiful place and so much less crowded than us down here in the South!

How are things going now, Luath? Have you a place yet? If so I can only think you are very busy gathering your flock and preparing for winter there. Fall is come here , reaching down quickly into the southern most states in the US , already, so winter will be here quite swiftly. They say it will be a hard one in our northeast states where I live. So, I am looking toward having some adventures with it. Or at least making sure I keep warm! Lately, learning to knit socks properly. They do not sell good wool socks in my town. I hope all is well and progress being made on what you are seeking! I wish I could do much the same . It is very nice when someone can do it. Blessings.
