Snowmom Posted June 18, 2014 Share Posted June 18, 2014 Sure seems like I have been having problems getting these posted on Mondays, I was sure I could do it this week, but, both of us had appointments early. ********** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swimming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ******** These willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes, walking on the treadmill and riding the bike, working outside some more the past week I have gotten in about 28 miles. **** Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Andrea Posted June 19, 2014 Share Posted June 19, 2014 Last week was a looooooong time ago, am I really supposed to remember that far back?!? I was somewhat bad last week but I'm making up for it this week! Lots of time on the elliptical, exercise bike, and garden. I'm guessing last week was no more than 10 miles, if that. Last week, (yeah, I have trouble remembering that far back too, lol), diving on Monday, walked 2 miles, swam 2 miles, garden, and house cleaning 2 miles, maybe 6 miles total. This week, Monday's diving, I doubled the swimming and walking, but now I'm in TX and I do not get much exercise while I'm here. We shall see how much I can add to it. DH has lost 30 lbs. and is bragging about it, making me embarrassed because I am having a very hard time keeping the 5 meager pounds off, that I have managed to lose. Quote Link to comment
