FOOD-MEAT SLICERS

Recommended Posts

We cut really nice tenderloins to make boneless pork chops, nice steaks from chunks of beef, and ... one of the ways we save a lot of money is to buy bulk cheeses and slice them ourselves. This particular chunk was $3.86 and we got a lotta cheese! We ended up with three nice stacks, plus a chunk we'll cube up to eat with our summer sausage lunches & crackers. Would you say we were "cutting the cheese?" :24:

I thought someone was 'cutting the cheese'. I should have known it was you.

Looks good. My in laws gave me a meat slicer waaay back in the 1970's and it was great. I forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder though. I'm going to have to do some ham cutting soon for soups and it will make cutting easier. I can slice it and then cube it by hand.
