Snowmom
I am so glad for all of you who are losing weight, I just can't seem to lose no matter what right now, oh I drop a pound and then gain it back the next day and the like, but, I really need to get rid of 20 pounds. I am doing a lot of baking right now for gifts and have not been eating much of the end product either. When my legs hurt and such, I just can't get myself to walk on the treadmill, but, as you know, I do ride the bike. I'm happy to see many of you posting here. Really makes me happy. **********Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swimming, walking, and such. *********These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ********These will be counted as 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ********You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************For the week of November 30 - December 6, I am saying, 41 miles on the bike and ¾ mile on the treadmill. I will add 1 mile for stairs and probably 5 more miles just walking, shopping and doing the back and forth with the cookies. Making a total of 47 ¾ miles last week, I just wish I could get more on the treadmill. ********* Ok, who will be ???***** Quote Link to comment
Momo
You might be gaining muscle with all your walking..which weighs more than fat or regular tissue. You know you have to be much healthier! Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
Momo, that sure sounds good. My sweet DH tells me that when I complain about gaining. I still can not figure out why with one meal I can gain 10 pounds. Last week, extra laundry from the trip - 1 mile. Then, we had a day of rain which caused me to have to wash the floors twice to get them clean. Cleaning day took twice as long - 3 miles. Plus my usual 3 miles doing this and that, give me about 7 miles. If'n I remember for next week, I walked the dog Monday at least 4 miles. We walked to the river which is usually dry, because of the rain, it was running rather well. I know what you mean, Snowmom, I was discouraged how sore I was Tuesday, it was very difficult for me to get around. And... I gained 5 pounds. Really?! Sheesh. Quote Link to comment
sassenach
Lots of walking here and in Plattsburgh cause I went on errands and shopping. 4 miles then House cleaning I will just say 1 mile total. So five. 3 more pounds lost. Quote Link to comment
