Cat
DGS loves to play with my Playdoh, but I don't bring it to him often. It's labor-intensive - meaning I need to "help" him so often that with the baby's needs it can be a hassle. But today I brought it out to keep him busy so he wasn't bored.Green - his favorite color! So I squished it down for him to cut out animals with the cookie cutters. Then he wanted another color, so I gave him the blue and squished that down for him, then I hurried to help the baby.A few minutes later, I went out to the kitchen to check on him. He had mixed the two colors together! "I told you that we can't take them apart again when you DO that! Now you won't have your pretty green!"He looked up and explained, "I made a URF!""A WHAT?""I made a URF!"Then I noticed that his colorful mix did, indeed, look very much like "an EARTH"!" Took me a minute, but OH, how sweet! LOLSo now his "Earth Science" lesson included the news that the blue is the water part, and the green is the land where the grass and trees grow.
