This is actually a very old 2005 thread.  At one time I believe there was a thread with links but :shrug:.

Most of the info that was being searched for back then is widely available on the net now - for free!

All you have to do is input the name of the drug and you can find links to the manufacturer or to pharmaceutical sites that will provide that information.

OTOH, you could go "old school" and call your pharmacist! :hidingsmile:

A lot of people forget to ask their pharmacist. The few times I actually remembered, he was very helpful. Most of them really do like to help.

Some information I got today: Sealed guaifenesin tablets stay potent for an average of about seven years after their use-by date, per the FDA. "It's a relatively stable chemical," says Dr. Apgar. However, when guaifenesin is in liquid form, the label date is the real expiration date.

So this bottle I have that has a use-by date of Feb 2021 is unopened, so we can open it today and use it within the year while um, expecting normal results.
