WormGuy
Am I the only one that has the page(s) jump around when "loading" appears at the top of the screen every 30 seconds? And what is loading? Is it for the shoutbox? Is it for the entire site? It is driving me nuts when I'm making a post and the screen jumps or when I'm inserting a smilie and they disappear or it makes me click the wrong one. John Quote Link to comment
Daylily
That happens to me too. Quote Link to comment

Annarchy
I don't know yet, however I am researching everything I can find. My first thought was the Shout Box, when I minimized it, the pages seemed to load slightly faster. Just a note: I downloaded a spyware sweeper today and it cleared several things off my computer. Now the pages load just fine.... Looking further into the matter. Sorry I do not have a quick fix for some of these things. Quote Link to comment
Violet
It happens to me, too ! That and when you click on a topic on a post it jumps, too. Ambergris
When I switched to Firefox I stopped having that problem. Quote Link to comment
WormGuy
I found that if I close the shoutbox the jumping/loading stops. John Quote Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
I didn't have the jumping thing until John said he had it. Now mine does it every now and then. it is like trying to hit a moving target when I go to insert something. LOL but again these are small compared to the big troubles we had. Quote Link to comment
Midnightmom
My page jumps too. But, what is REALLY irritatiing, is when the MOUSE jumps! I can be typing a word in a sentence, and the mouse jumps back to a previous word and sometimes to a previous word in a previous line! The "Mexican Jumping Bean" mouse is very very annoying. (and no, I did NOT format the previous word with strikeout text!!!) Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
I do not know if this applies to any of you, but I do know sometimes when my hands/wrists rest too hard on my computer (laptop) it makes the mouse go tweaky, moves the curser odd places and does strange things to my text I am attempting to type. I'm always telling myself not to bump my touch pad. We are still researching some of the minor glitches since the upgrade. Thank you for your patience through all of this. Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
Annarchy, that happens to me all the time too. If I type the usual way with one hand flying above the keyboard it seldom happens. If I type using both hands, my wrist can hit on the mouse pad thingy (laptop) and the cursor often ends up in the middle of aother sentence. Quote Link to comment
