Midnightmom
..........can you sift the (white/all purpose) flour and use it? And, once sifted, can I store it for future use? Quote Link to comment
Cat
You can. Settlers used to do it all the time, and even just ignored the bugs and used it "as is". Not beautiful. Not "nice" in today's world with today's sensitivities. But if you feel you must, you can. And if you keep it stored, freeze it for a while to kill any more eggs in it. Quote Link to comment

Canned Nerd
Bugs are a good source of protein. I just don't like them while they are flying/crawling/biting near me. Quote Link to comment

However, I do not advise anyone to partake of ants..... You wouldn't notice them in All-Bran cereal either. I've had to do a double take many times. I finally stopped looking. I've never found any but I've wasted a lot of time looking for something that wasn't there. Quote Link to comment
