Snowmom
As a rule, I don't count a lot for cooking and such, but, when I did a couple weeks ago, it was because of all the walking from kitchen stove to the table with the cookies. You can count anything that puts a lot of steps in. ********** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swiming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Last week, December 15 - 21, I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes, treadmill and bike, I got in at least 15 1/2 I am in hopes to start getting in a lot of miles, I just have to get down again. **** Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
That is great Snowmom! Last week I walked the dog once. Cooked on the BBQ all day giving me about a mile. Had to keep the temperature moderated. And cleaning day giving me a total of about 4 miles. I am going to resolve to begin the New Year making an effort to walk every day regardless how bad it hurts.
