Snowmom
Sorry, about not getting in here last week to post miles. Time has just been going and going and I'm not ready for Christmas yet, should have had more baking done and have to ship packages today in order for them to get where they are going. *********************** Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. Biking, swiming, walking, and such. ********* These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ******** These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile weights, jumping rope. ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Miles for last two weeks, I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes and all, I got in about a total of maybe 25 miles. I still haven't gotten down to walk or ride, so until I can do that I will not have many miles. I am in hopes that by the first of the year I will be able to get down to ride and walk again. I really need to, as I have gained a few pounds and can't afford to do that. ********* Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Quote Link to comment
Momo
Snow you are doing so good. Anytime you can improve your total it is a step in the right direction. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
You are right, Momo. Dec. 2 - 15. Wow, a lot has happened. I know, driving miles do not count, maybe as arm and wrist exercises. We've had some terrible winds. Nice today, thank God. I managed to dig up 100 sq. ft. of bermuda grass. Between 3 to 5 hours of standing on the shovel, pulling it down, then taking the shovel sized clod and removing the grass roots. Threw the grass roots in my mulch bin. Let's see, did laundry on Wed. 'cause MIL's adds to the basket. Dishes X's 3 instead of 2. Maybe an extra mile. Would you consider the gardening around 3 miles? Maid duties, cleaning house twice amounts to 2 miles, that's 5. Extra duties.... 1 mile. So, that's disgusting for me..... 6 miles. Ironically, if you were to compute in the stress miles.... I think I may have found a way to loose weight..... I've lost 10 pounds.
