Daylily
My sweet golden/feist mix is 14 years old and has become incontinence. The vet gave her some hormone pills, 2 months worth, to see if that would help her. It's been a month and hasn't cured the problem yet. Maybe it will. But my questions are...how can I get the smell of pee out of my hardwood floors? Any suggestions on how to protect the floor from now on? Everywhere she lies down, she leaves a little puddle. Thanks! carr
Maybe diapers for her would help the future issues. Quote Link to comment
Daylily
I meant to say she has become incontinent, not incontinence! Good grief, Do they seriously make dog diapers? Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
Here's a little info on how to remove the smell: http://www.hardwoodchampion.com/pet-urine-smell/ Yes they do make doggie diapers: http://www.seniorpetproducts.com/dogs/wellness/diapers/ Quote Link to comment
Daylily
Wow! They even make washable doggie diapers! I don't think that's in my budget though. Thanks for the info and for the cleaning info. I think I'll try the vinegar solution. Quote Link to comment
carr
I'll bet you could make your own doggie diapers in a pinch with no sewing. Quote Link to comment
carr
http://www.mimiandtara.com/dog-diaper-pattern/ Here's a free pattern. Use old towels, sheets, dishcloths, clothes ... etc. Quote Link to comment
