What would you do?

LOL! I would stay. Wouldn't take the beer, but I'm the kind of person who strikes up a conversation with pretty much anybody. I might hesitate a moment, but with my DH by my side, I'd watch the movie.

 I drive my family nuts by talking to people. I love to just make that human connection. :ashamed0002: Especially with kids...

Then on the other hand, I draw away from people who want to get closer. :sigh: Until I married, people closest to me were the ones who hurt me the most. It's a learned behavior, I guess.

Smile.......at my advanced age , i have found the outside appearance is just the shell..

Behind all those tattoos, long hair, etc can be a heart of gold......

beer and movies aren't my desire either but you see these kind of people everywhere.

An elderly friend of mine had a flat and did not have the faintest idea what to do.

A couple of longhaired rough looking bikers stopped and changed the tire. To her

utter astonishment, she found them polite , and not dangerous..forever changing

her mind that the way a person looks on the outside does not necessarily show the heart.

Exactly! A smile often is just a first start. :-)

I got caught in the wrong crowd once, when it was just getting ugly. I looked around for the biggest baddest ugliest dude in the immediate vicinity, walked up to him, and asked for an escort out of this mess. He and his buddies clamshelled around me and got me out of there fast.

(There are some places a sixteen year old in a bikini does not need to be.)

......the appearance of others .... :scratchhead: ...is a secondary issue here for me. Oughta see some of our mountain men....like Duck Dynasty. However the scowls these guys were giving would have sent a red flag for me. They didn't just look tough and large, they looked hostile. I WOULD be acting on that! Hostile group in a crowded environment....no way!

But really....I'd be itchy in ANY large gathering....movie, anything. I don't even go to a mall. Definitely wouldn't go to a huge concert or other such venue. Even outside if it's thousands. Last time I was in any large crowd was years ago.....and I knew right where the exits were.

Too much of a hermit to sit anywhere in a crowd but the seat next to the exit. Remember, I'm from Colorado and unfortunately, we are allllll too aware that violence can happen in crowds. Our shooting disasters include: Columbine AND the high school yesterday, Batman movie theater, mega-church, ...... :behindsofa:

MtRider ....just looking at all those people squashed in there made me shudder. But the video was hilarious! A lotta bikers have real soft hearts.
