It has been another one of those weeks. Had to be up and early and gone both Monday and yesterday. Today should be a stay - at- home day, I hope anyway. :) But, I have a lot of things I need to get done. :)

**********

Here are some things that count for miles.

These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile.

Biking, swiming, walking, and such.

*********

These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile

*********

:STAIRS: will be down and up 10 times = one mile

********

These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile

:lois: weights, jumping rope. :clothesline:t118033.gif

********

You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. :)

Last week, April 13 - April 19, I am going to say with laundry, stairs, shopping, housework, dishes, walking on the treadmill and riding the bike, I got in about 23 miles.

****

Ok, who will be NEXT2.gif ???

Who is going to join us? :) Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. :)

:hi: Snowmom, 23 miles is great! Hoping someday to be able to do as much as you do.

Last week I was in TX. I posted some pictures in the Daily Diary of a hail storm that came and went in 7 minutes. I did not do much walking. I think I may have managed to walk a couple of miles. The fall I took, a couple of months ago, is really bothering my back and neck lately, so I am not as motivated as I would like to be.

Maybe I will push myself this week to be more motivated. Next week, I am looking forward to starting our swimming and fishing season. 2 mile walking and 3 miles swimming at the minimum. Hopefully, the water therapy will help my spine. I do not like the way my arms and legs are going numb. :imoksmiley: I just need to keep moving and it goes away for a while.

I was out of town visiting my parents so I didn't get in my usual exercise, although I did break a serious sweat getting part of my Dad's garden in. I wish I could have done more, but due to jury duty, I only had a few days with them. Then of course, I had jury duty so I didn't exercise too much although I had to park a good 1/2 mile away, so that counts for something! The other 4 days of the week I did get in my 30 min minimum on the exercise bike. DH also put together the cheap elliptical I ordered while we were gone. It works great, EXCEPT it has developed this really annoying high pitched whine, so I'm not sure if we'll be keeping it or not. In any event, count me in! I'm not counting miles but minutes.
