Ya know, back in 1930-1940's a doctor did advise my grandmother to have a small glass of beer each night before bed. She was the nervous type....and a Baptist. A Southern Baptist! But she followed the doctors orders. She became mellow. She was 2 months shy of the 93rd. birthday when she died. I'm glad he didn't prescribe cigars though.That might have led her to card playing and dancing. Quote Link to comment
