How can I find out what grows in our area? I live in MN, and I'm interested in knowing what herbs can be grown naturally or planted here. Not sure if I said that right, but I hope you know what I mean......thanks for your help!

For plants native to MN try this site....
http://www.stolaf.edu/depts/biology/mnps/
besides that try your seed catalogs on line for plants that will grow in your area.
there are a few listed here:
http://www.vegetable-gardening-4u.com/garden-seed.htm
Most of them recommend the plants best suited to growing in your area
http://www.wildflower2.org/index.html is another site you can try.
good luck

HG, you might also try your county extension office. They usually have free brochures with pictures of plants that grow wild in each area.
