Nana! Thanks! Hummmmm!!! Wonder, if I could somehow, make this an occuaptional therapy activity...For the therapist and my boys!!!! A little fast talk...I could say it would be good for the boys to learn to use a drill...Yeah!!! That's it...They need to learn to use TOOLS!!! Got it!
In one of my houses, I put little hooks into the side panels on my cabinets and hung things from them. It worked for decluttering the drawers and the hooks held things like spatulas, whips etc.
Thanks Nana! I have a plan!

A word of caution though, I have a rather large window area so you want to measure carefully. My kitchen windows measure 104 inches from one side of the frame to the other. Each window is 48 inches wide. That iron pipe is 8 feet long.
Edited to add;
I think I was half asleep last night. I left out the rest of my thought. It's up there, in purple.

Still here, still Nana

That "Love Thy Neighbor" thing? I meant that.
Keep using My name in vain, I'll make rush hour longer.
Tell the kids I love them.

awwwwwww your kitchen is absolutely precious pixie!

"One day, we’re going to stand before the gates of Heaven. Some of us want to be able to walk up there in a white robe and we want to sing Abba Father and Amazing Grace and we want to say to the Lord, “I worshiped You.” But I want you to think about this: Heres the way I want to enter the gates of Heaven. I want to come skidding in there on all fours. I want to be slipping and sliding and I want to hit the gates of heaven with a bang. And when I stand up and I stand before Christ, I want there to be blood on my knees and my elbows. I want to be covered with mud. And I want to be standing there with a ragged breast plate of righteousness. And a spear in my hand. And I want to say, “Look at me, Jesus. I’ve been in the battle. I’ve been fighting for you.” Ladies and gentlemen, put your armor on and get into battle. God bless you." ~ General William G. Boykin, U.S. Army (ret.)

You all have lovely kitchens and families!
I would like to point out...those cute little Sunflower salt & pepper shakers on top of my fridge, were sent to me by Pixie in the secret exchange. (I was going to take pictures and post them when I received them but, I couldn't find my camera. I found it the other day in my camp trailer

This is a small room in our converted garage where I use as a pantry also. I keep lamp oil, lamps, etc, butane stove, canning jars, dog food, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Ooh, DM4, I saw a FlyLady calendar on your fridge! I have one next to my front door.
Yep! It has a very prominent place in my kitchen for years. I became a Flybaby 5 yrs ago and have tossed so much junk little by little. Also has helped me get a pantry organized.

LOL, Mom11--I think kids these days are born knowing how to do all this technical stuff. I taught my daughter how to use the computer when she was 8 years old (when we got online for the first time) and she just ran with it. Now I find myself asking her how to do things, lol--and it's not like she ever took a computer class, either. Anyway, yep, getting the kids to help post your pictures counts!
Definitely!
I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's kitchens. Thanks for sharing!
