[jeanettecentaur] 7:08 am: thanks HSmom
[jeanettecentaur] 7:08 am: I love yellow too...lately I have been wearing it

[HSmom] 7:09 am: Yes, Q & A. Do you have a Q?
[HSmom] 7:09 am: Y'all know what Q&A really means, right?
[jeanettecentaur] 7:10 am: Well, I just bought a Valencia Orange Tree...and the
blossoms smell just delicious!!! How do you Know fruit is ripe? I was told here
in TX to pick in Sept...What does Q and A really mean HSmom?
[HSmom] 7:11 am: It means I couldn't think of a 'real' topic! lol

[MtRider] 7:14 am: 'Morning......YAWWWN!
[HSmom] 7:14 am: We're having Q&A today. Ask your burning questions and we'll do
our best to answer.
[HSmom] 7:15 am: Well, Jeanette the first page of Google didn't turn up anything
for me. I have to much altitude to grow oranges. Sorry.
[MtRider] 7:15 am: what is "orange answer" Jeanettec?
[] 7:15 am: I have a Q. I have quite a large and overgrown rasberry patch. How
do I get it back to the way it was a couple years ago.
[HSmom] 7:15 am: Now that I know about! Machete.
[HSmom] 7:16 am: Seriously. Trim, trim, trim....
[MtRider] 7:16 am: pruning the old growth...but I'm not sure how, which, etc
[HSmom] 7:16 am: Raspberries, blackberries etc: The canes have a two year growth
cycle.
[HSmom] 7:17 am: The first year is primarily just growth. The second year is
fruiting. Then whack 'em back. They just get woody and useless.
[jeanettecentaur] 7:17 am: MtRider, I'm just trying to find out the best time
for harvesting my orange tree...someone said Sept at the garden center....but it
seems to be in season in the summer....maybe it's just because I'm in TX that
the timing is different...
[jeanettecentaur] 7:17 am: Raspberries!!! lucky you, joan
[jeanettecentaur] 7:18 am: Only one season of berries, Hsmom?
[HSmom] 7:18 am: Here Jeanette: http://www.texasweet.com/consumers/faq.html
[HSmom] 7:18 am: It says: Texas produces navels from mid-October to mid-January.
Valencia oranges are thin skinned and perfect for juicing. Texas grows valencias
from mid-February to mid-May.
[jeanettecentaur] 7:18 am: you rock HSmom...I'll brb
[HSmom] 7:19 am: Only one season, yes, but by then that single cane has produced
about 50 daughter canes that are invading your lawn, garden, neighbor's home,
and could be expected to forcibly overthrow the pumpkin patch. lol
[] 7:19 am: They started invading the garden about five yrs ago
[MtRider] 7:19 am: Sounds like Voice of Experience, HS
[] 7:20 am: This patch has been here for at least 15yrs possible longer
[jeanettecentaur] 7:20 am: So each new cane produces one season as well?
[HSmom] 7:20 am: The patch will last a long time; it's just the individual canes
that poop out.
[HSmom] 7:20 am: Yes, Jeanette.
[MtRider] 7:21 am: If you don't mind waiting for fruit again, & the situation is
beyond control...whack almost everything down to ground and start over
[HSmom] 7:21 am: Get rid of all the woody growth - the brown, not green canes. I
suggest long handled lopers and kevlar gloves.
[HSmom] 7:21 am: MtRider does have a point.
[MtRider] 7:21 am: kevlar....lol...is that for real?
[] 7:22 am: When should I be doing this?
[HSmom] 7:22 am: The vet has kevlar gloves, but no, I've not used them for
gardening.
[dogmom4] 7:22 am: gotta go ladies....nice seeing you for a minute

[HSmom] 7:22 am: Bye DM4!
[jeanettecentaur] 7:22 am: time to re-fill coffee...brb
[HSmom] 7:23 am: Doing which Joan? Selectively trimming the woody growth can be
done at any time. Whacking the whole thing to the ground with a machete is best
done after the fruiting season is finished.
[MtRider] 7:23 am: bring back some coffee to pour over my head....augh, up too
late again
[The Lounge]: dogmom4 has left at 7:23 am
[MtRider] 7:24 am: do the daughter plants come up the next year, HS
[HSmom] 7:24 am: Daughter plants come up constantly.
[MtRider] 7:25 am: but you'd lose a year of fruit by whacking
everything...right?
[HSmom] 7:25 am: JEANETTECENTAUR - can you hear me from the coffee pot? Here's
another link:
http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/extensi...rus/citrus.html
[HSmom] 7:26 am: Not really MtR. If you whack at the end of the fruiting season,
a lot will be back by next season. Assuming that the patch is sturdy to begin
with. Given that her patch is taking over the garden, etc, I'd say it's sturdy.
[MtRider] 7:26 am: I am so bad a pruning, culling, pulling extra plants too
close together.....it seems like murdering the bitty things. But then I don't
have good carrots, etc.
[jeanettecentaur] 7:27 am: I brought extra for everyone....veeeerrrrrrry strong
and hot...bagels and cream cheese too!!!
[HSmom] 7:27 am: Oooh, thanks! Can I have an onion bagel, please?
[MtRider] 7:27 am: thinning....that's the word I was searching for.....thinnng
the veggies
[] 7:27 am: So let it fruit this year, and get what I can and wack it all to the

"mini" root cellar type deals.. What is the best type?
[MtRider] 7:30 am: 'Puters: just great until they aren't.
[] 7:31 am: I have another one. I was unable to do a garden last year and so I
let it just grow weeds but when the snow melts how do I get it ready for
planting (My dad usally roti-tills it but he will be out of town untill fall
[jewlzm] 7:31 am: lol Jeanette
[jeanettecentaur] 7:31 am: jewlsm, are you burying the barrels??? Interesting...
[HSmom] 7:32 am: I'm back.
[MtRider] 7:32 am: Hmmm...ya get a "dunno" from me on the barrels
[jeanettecentaur] 7:32 am: my DH and I have discussed burying a traincar on our
land for the same type of storage
[jeanettecentaur] 7:33 am: I suppose it makes a good shelter as well...
[HSmom] 7:33 am: Jeanette, did you see this link?
http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/extensi...rus/citrus.html
[jewlzm] 7:33 am: yes.. I plan on burying the barrels at an angle and putting
straw underneath .. putting my rootcrops inside layering them with straw
[jewlzm] 7:33 am: I dont want to use metal at all because of contamination
issues
[HSmom] 7:34 am: Plastic isn't a great option either, but what other choice do
you have?
[jewlzm] 7:34 am: But then I think that wood would deterierate and plastic would
cause condensation issues... so Im at a loss
[MtRider] 7:34 am: Do you have an excess moisture issue....wood vs plastic?
[HSmom] 7:34 am: I would be concerned about contamination with plastic as well.
[jeanettecentaur] 7:34 am: thanks HSmom
[MtRider] 7:34 am: Not with food grade plastic tho
[The Lounge]: Freebird has entered at 7:35 am
[HSmom] 7:35 am: Joan, I haven't forgotten your question
[MtRider] 7:35 am: Big water barrels or are you thinking of smaller like 5-6 gal
size?
[] 7:35 am: HI Freebird
[Freebird] 7:35 am: Hi everyone
[HSmom] 7:35 am: Food grade plastic can cause contamination - if you're a
crunchy granola type like me.
[MtRider] 7:35 am: Hi FB
[HSmom] 7:35 am: Good morning, Freebird!
[jeanettecentaur] 7:35 am: Aren't food storage cellars a bit dank and moist???
[jewlzm] 7:36 am: I have a bunch of foodgrade plastic barrels at my disposal....
so contamination really isnt an issue
[jewlzm] 7:36 am: hmmmmm good point jeanette
[jeanettecentaur] 7:36 am: good morning freebird!:earth:
[MtRider] 7:36 am: Oh, degrading plastic...yeah....
[HSmom] 7:36 am: What food items do want to store Jewlz?
[Freebird] 7:36 am: how much ar food grade barrels in your area. They're up to
$15 here now
[jewlzm] 7:36 am: just my root crops.. like turnips potatoes carrots ant the
like
[jeanettecentaur] 7:36 am: I thought that the dry straw helped with that issue
[HSmom] 7:37 am: Freebird, we don't have a stated topic today. We're just doing
Q & A.
[HSmom] 7:37 am: Potatoes will rot if it's too wet.
[Freebird] 7:37 am: k
[MtRider] 7:37 am: straw would absorb some of the moisture...veggies will
outgass
[jewlzm] 7:37 am: The ones I had been getting were free.. but the local store
they are 20 new 15 used .. then the discount comes off the top
[HSmom] 7:37 am: Carrots like more moisture than potatoes, but will sprout hairy
roots if it's too wet.
[jewlzm] 7:38 am: hmmm so there is to much moisture in the crisper
[HSmom] 7:38 am: Our barrels - such as previously used for beverage syrup - are
$15 - $20 for 55 gallon.
[MtRider] 7:38 am: Carrots can be stored in damp sand -- and in the dark
[HSmom] 7:38 am: Dark is good for all food storage.
[jewlzm] 7:38 am: Wooden barrels are like 50 bucks so I was leaning towards
plastic
[MtRider] 7:39 am: Y'all know that you will lose a certain percentage of root
cellar veggies...ya just want to minimize it.
[HSmom] 7:39 am: What about rather than buying wooden barrels, constructing
wooden boxes from old pallets, maybe?
[Freebird] 7:39 am: A year ago, they were $5. Seems like preppers are bidding up
the price.
[MtRider] 7:40 am: Towards spring, our potatoes were getting quite spongy and
sprouting
[HSmom] 7:40 am: Well, I'm not buying direct fromt he bottler - I'm buying from
a 'middle man'.
[jewlzm] 7:40 am: when they get like that .. I just replant them MtR
[HSmom] 7:40 am: Sprouting is okay - just snap them off. But spongy is kinds
icky.
[MtRider] 7:40 am: What kind of moisture is in your soil? How cold do you do
winter while you store?
[jewlzm] 7:41 am: HSmom.. finding "clean" pallets would be another issue
[HSmom] 7:41 am: How clean is clean?
[jewlzm] 7:42 am: I have a high watertable.. which is why I was leaning towards
barrels and not wanting to dig a 12x12 root cellar
[MtRider] 7:42 am: Yep, HS -- the last of them are the 'seed potatoes. I have
purple "seeds' getting sprouts in my basement this year..too early...they got
too much light
[jeanettecentaur] 7:43 am: I'm leaning toward straw in baskets and wooden boxes
inside a suitable container for storage
[jeanettecentaur] 7:43 am: i like the moist sand idea for carrots...thanks!
[MtRider] 7:43 am: brb
[HSmom] 7:44 am: Joan, do you want to re-ask your question?
[HSmom] 7:45 am: And BTW, we're not limited to gardening topics, anything on
MrsS goes.
[] 7:45 am: I was unable to do a garden last year and so I let it
just grow weeds but when the snow melts how do I get it ready for planting (My
dad
usally roti-tills it but he will be out of town untill fall
[jewlzm] 7:46 am: I normally just use my shovel and turn it by hand for
starters..
[] 7:47 am: I tried that last spring, I got about five shovelfulls done befor I
quit
[jewlzm] 7:47 am: lol
[jewlzm] 7:47 am: I did my whole garden one and a half times before my back gave
out and I was laid up for awhile.. so I dont recommend it
[] 7:48 am: About ten years ago by dad used to do the garden by hand, then he
got a roti-tiller
[jeanettecentaur] 7:48 am: not a question...but something I've been keeping an
eye on if anyone is interested
gramhtm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.infowars.com/articles/immigra...ker_program.htm
[jewlzm] 7:49 am: Sometimes those yard services will have a rototiller service
where they will do your garden for a fee...
[jewlzm] 7:49 am: its compairable to renting a tiller for yourself ..
[HSmom] 7:50 am: Awwww man!!!! My computer is so stupid!
[] 7:50 am: I think I'll hire a service to do it for me. I don't hink I could
handle a tiller myself
[HSmom] 7:50 am: This happened last week, too (but not anytime between then and

[jewlzm] 7:51 am: Oh no HSmom.. did you figure out what did it last week?
[] 7:51 am: Did you try unplugging your mose and plugging it back in without
restarting your computer
[HSmom] 7:51 am: No, I just restarted, but then didn't get to save the chat.
[] 7:51 am: mouse not mose
[MtRider] 7:51 am: Yeah, I was going to say 'rent a tiller'
[HSmom] 7:51 am: I did last week - haven't yet today.
[HSmom] 7:52 am: Didn't work. Darn. Okay, sorry to interrupt... I was gonna

[jewlzm] 7:52 am: Joan -I would look in your local thrifty nickel paper and news

[HSmom] 8:10 am: No, but thank you Joan. I can save with tab, tab, enter, tab
tab, etc.
[Snowmom] 8:10 am: bye
[jeanettecentaur] 8:10 am: bye Joan!
[The Lounge]: has left at 8:10 am
[Snowmom] 8:10 am: I would think that wouldn't be to bad a price
[HSmom] 8:10 am: By 7 quart you mean it holds seven quart jars, not has a volume
capacity of 7 quarts, right?
[cookiejar] 8:10 am: I need to get some work done too, just wanted to stop
in..hugs all!
[jeanettecentaur] 8:10 am: right
[jeanettecentaur] 8:11 am: bye CJ
[HSmom] 8:11 am: Bye Cookie!
[Snowmom] 8:11 am: sure, I come and everyone leaves.
[Necie] 8:11 am: bye cookie
[Snowmom] 8:11 am: bye cookie
[HSmom] 8:11 am: Jeanette, if that's the best you can find, then that's a good
price, KWIM?
[The Lounge]: cookiejar has left at 8:12 am
[jeanettecentaur] 8:12 am: Snowmom, I'm coming up to your neck of the woods in
April...do I still need winter clothes at that time?
[jeanettecentaur] 8:12 am: thanks HS
[Snowmom] 8:12 am: I hope not, but who knows this year
[Snowmom] 8:12 am:
[Snowmom] 8:12 am: how far north are you coming
[jeanettecentaur] 8:13 am: 45 mins north of Minneapolis
[Snowmom] 8:13 am: aww, we are 2 hours north of there
[Snowmom] 8:13 am: right now we have snow on the ground and ice
[jeanettecentaur] 8:13 am: it's really beautiful in that area
[jeanettecentaur] 8:13 am: ok, that helps
[Snowmom] 8:13 am: but it is suppose to be in the 50's tomorrow
[Snowmom] 8:14 am: so a nice jacket and pants would be in order, not shorts
[Necie] 8:14 am: jc, i would take some warm clothes-april is iffy in the north.
i'm just northern ind. and we sometimes get snow april/may-latest frost i
remember was june 4
[Snowmom] 8:14 am: oh yes, we have had snow in April and in May even
[jeanettecentaur] 8:15 am: One of my best friends is having a little bairn' and
I'm going to keep the household going while she heals up from C-section...thanks
for all the good advice
[Snowmom] 8:15 am: you might want to check out the weather bug or something for
the weather.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:15 am: it's 79*here in TX
[Necie] 8:16 am: a week ago we went to bed and it was 72, woke up to an inch of
snow-that's a 40 deg drop in 6 hrs-sring is wacko around here
[Snowmom] 8:16 am: just where in TX are you. Our DD lives in the Dalas area and
one of our sons is in the Huston aread
[Snowmom] 8:16 am: area
[jeanettecentaur] 8:16 am: near Austin
[Necie] 8:16 am: sring=spring
[Snowmom] 8:16 am: ok.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:16 am: it's great during our 2 weeks of spring...lol
[Snowmom] 8:17 am:
[Necie] 8:17 am: brb-need more coffee
[Snowmom] 8:17 am: I know it was really storming down there last week.
[Snowmom] 8:17 am: ok
[jeanettecentaur] 8:17 am: The bluebonnets are growing like crazy...just
beautiful
[Snowmom] 8:17 am: they are beautiful for sure
[jeanettecentaur] 8:18 am: anyone here modify clay soil with lime??? I'm having
a tough time growing anything
[jeanettecentaur] 8:18 am: everything is in pots
[Snowmom] 8:18 am: we are going to Fargo Saturday and I will probably wear a
light jacket. but you will probably need to bring a heavy one just in case
[jeanettecentaur] 8:18 am: I'll do that...thank you Snowmom
[Snowmom] 8:18 am: we have sand so not much clay
[The Lounge]: pauline has entered at 8:19 am
[HSmom] 8:19 am: I don't Jeanette. The few spots that are heavy, I lighten with
manured straw. Straw is a nice lightener, because it traps air. The oxygen
allows more bugs/bacteria to do their thing in the ground.
[Snowmom] 8:19 am: I just added my blood results to the one forum
[HSmom] 8:19 am: Good morning Pauline!
[jeanettecentaur] 8:19 am: Hi pauline:yeah:
[pauline] 8:19 am: hi everyone
[Snowmom] 8:19 am: Hi Pauline
[jeanettecentaur] 8:20 am: blood results?
[HSmom] 8:20 am: We're doing Q&A today - any Mrs S topic is appropriate....
although we keep seeming to come back to gardening.
[Necie] 8:20 am: back-mornin' pauline
[Snowmom] 8:20 am: yes, I had high Bili results and so there is a post about
that
[jeanettecentaur] 8:20 am: ok ok ok...no more gardening...it's just so hard with
spring fever!!!
[HSmom] 8:21 am: I didn't say no gardening! Just that we keep ending up there!
[jeanettecentaur] 8:21 am: oh...i'll check it out Snowmom
[jeanettecentaur] 8:21 am:
[HSmom] 8:21 am: lol
[HSmom] 8:22 am: Okay, I have a comment, not a question.
[Necie] 8:22 am: i'm getting chicks next week and want to put them in the
furnace room (read=NOT in my cellar/store room) til the 'visitors' are done---
[Snowmom] 8:22 am: I had a cortosone shot a couple weeks ago and I am wondering
if that could be the cause of the numbers
[HSmom] 8:22 am: The higher food prices finally hit me. I buy a lot of food from
www.azurestandard.com.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:22 am: it's raining here so i can't go out and g@#*&n
[Necie] 8:22 am: having a hard time with dbf, cuz it'll be his family doing the
'visiting' and they don't prep....
[HSmom] 8:23 am: In the last 18 months, their prices have been very stable. This
month I go to order and EVERYTHING is up 20 - 33% OUCH!
[jeanettecentaur] 8:23 am: brb
[HSmom] 8:23 am: lol at jeanette - Watch your language missy!
[Necie] 8:23 am: he says...well, ya had no problem with your family going down
there, well i prep for my kids and the rest of my family (sis's, mom, grands)
prep for themselves....
[HSmom] 8:24 am: Can you pass it off as something else? Like tell them business
at the restaurant is down, so you're selling eggs on the side. You think it will
be great education for your kids...Something like that?
[Snowmom] 8:24 am: it is hard when people like that show up.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:24 am: that's a bummer necie...you are doing a noble deed
though
[jeanettecentaur] 8:25 am: http://www.bulkfoods.com/food_list.htm
[Necie] 8:26 am: my preps don't even phase my family, but i'm worried about
comments from his family--and that they might consider here if shtf--they are
all adults that have their own homes and kids, but don't prep
[HSmom] 8:26 am: Thanks Jeanette - I'll take a look at that.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:26 am:
[HSmom] 8:26 am: Tell em you're going to raise the chicks as broilers and sell
them.
[HSmom] 8:26 am: Then if the SHTF, they'd be gone
[jeanettecentaur] 8:27 am: tell them about the bird flu...they won't come...lol
[HSmom] 8:27 am: lol
[jeanettecentaur] 8:27 am: sorry, bad humor
[Snowmom] 8:27 am: Most of my family, I should say sisters were always ready for
anything, we were taught to do this when we were at home. We gardened and
canned. But, so many people just don't do that.
[pauline] 8:27 am: that is a good idea hsmom as far as raising them to sell
[Necie] 8:28 am: hs-you misunderstand-its not the chicks/eggs that i'm worried
about-it's his family seeing everything else in the cellar, so i wanna put the
chicks in the furnace room..no preps in there...but dbf doesn't want me to
[Necie] 8:28 am: lol jeanette
[HSmom] 8:28 am: Oh... duh.. sorry.
[Snowmom] 8:28 am: that would be a nice warm place for them, where does your bf
want them?
[Necie] 8:29 am: in my cellar
[pauline] 8:29 am: is there a way to put a key lock on the cellar /storage room
and you keep the keys with you at all times thereby keeping them out of the room
[Snowmom] 8:29 am: aww, not a good place, they need nice and warm.
[Necie] 8:29 am: he thinks i'm being...???? about letting my family go in there,
but not his
[Snowmom] 8:30 am: why do they need to see it anyway, that is your home.
[jeanettecentaur] 8:30 am: It's interesting that becoming a prepper doesn't
necessarily inspire people to do the same...It just gives them a back-up plan
for TSHTF!!!:mean:
[Necie] 8:30 am: pauline, but his grandneices (3 and 1) wanna see the chickies
and his mom and dad and his nephews--i just don't want them (the parents) to see
everything else
[pauline] 8:31 am: oops oh well it's none of their business and if they don't
prep or have similair feelings about prepping it is better not to let them know
what you have in my opinion
[Necie] 8:31 am: i know...i think i'm stuck
[Snowmom] 8:31 am: is there a way to cover some of your things up??
[HSmom] 8:31 am: Can you do something creative with sheets or shower curtains?
[Snowmom] 8:31 am: or take the little ones down and the others don't need to see
the chicks
[jeanettecentaur] 8:32 am: Maybe you could "drape" everything and camo it all
with "junk"
[jeanettecentaur] 8:32 am: we all had the same thought...lol
[pauline] 8:32 am: is there a way you could bring the chicks out for a little
while without them going down to see them and the storage
[HSmom] 8:32 am: Stack empty boxes in front of your preps. Label the boxes
"winter clothes" and "high school yearbooks" etc.
[Snowmom] 8:32 am: material, craft things, etc.
[Necie] 8:32 am: they'd peek-his mom about drove me nuts with her snooping when
we moved in here last summer--this was his gr-parents house and i guess she
thought she could just make herself at home
[HSmom] 8:32 am: "camping equipment" "extra quilts" Oh, crafts!
[jeanettecentaur] 8:33 am: brb
[HSmom] 8:33 am: Well, that's just rude! Are you able to talk to dbf freely
about that?
[Necie] 8:33 am: oooh, i can box some things up---it's mostly the store bought
preps that i'm concerned with
[Snowmom] 8:33 am: add some totes with this other in front of the jars and
things
[Necie] 8:34 am: oh, boy, did he here about it
[HSmom] 8:34 am: lol
[HSmom] 8:34 am: That's right. I'm talking to Necie.
[Snowmom] 8:34 am: I wish you luck and hope things go well for you.
[HSmom] 8:34 am:
[HSmom] 8:34 am: Then just put your foot down, throw a fit and move the chicks.
[Necie] 8:34 am: i'm not worried about my home canned stuff, winemaking,
etc--they know i do that stuff
[pauline] 8:35 am: i agree camoflage as much as possible then get lock to keep
them out when you are at work etc. and good luck i would have thrown a fit about
her snooping
[HSmom] 8:35 am: Necie - are you okay with this portion of chat being archived?
[Necie] 8:35 am: yeah, no problem
[HSmom] 8:35 am: K
[Snowmom] 8:35 am: looking at the time, I need to get some things done around
here. bye for now.
[HSmom] 8:36 am: Thanks for coming Snowmom! Bye.
[pauline] 8:36 am: bye snowmom have a good day
[jeanettecentaur] 8:36 am: bye Snowmom
[Necie] 8:37 am: our families are just so different--when my sis's went
down-first time here, showing them the house-one was eyeballing my canned
stuff--i said: keep your hands OFF my salsa, i'm almost out. she said: ya i need
to make more too
[The Lounge]: Snowmom has left at 8:37 am
[Necie] 8:37 am: bye snowmom
[jeanettecentaur] 8:38 am: you guys are a great distraction from cleaning house
on a rainy day...
[jeanettecentaur] 8:38 am: salsa is like gold around here
[HSmom] 8:38 am: We do our best Jeanette.
[Necie] 8:38 am: it's raining here, too. had some big thunderboomers early
[HSmom] 8:38 am: I made fresh salsa last year - for the first time. It was
wonderful.
[HSmom] 8:39 am: Anybody else have a question to pose? If not, I'll archive now.
[pauline] 8:39 am: go ahead and archive
[Necie] 8:40 am: made mine in 05-do it every other year-make enough for 2 years,
so i can concentrate on just a few things a year---tomatoes one year, gr beans
and corn the next
[jeanettecentaur] 8:40 am: Necie, does this portion of your family live close
enough to burden y'all if TSHTF??? Maybe you could gift them their own preps on
holidays or something...but still drape your goods
[Necie] 8:40 am: ooooooooh YEAH
[HSmom] 8:40 am: That's a neat approach Necie.
[Necie] 8:41 am: we have canning marathons--mom, sis's and i--4 BIG gardens in
all
[jeanettecentaur] 8:42 am: I think i'm going to run now...thank you ladies for a
lovely morning! Be well!!!:awe:
[Necie] 8:42 am: i give them all kinds of canned stuff--mostly pickles, jellies,
stuff like that
[Necie] 8:42 am: dbf's family that is
[HSmom] 8:42 am: Thanks for coming Jeanette! Bye.
[pauline] 8:42 am: have a good day jeanette
[Necie] 8:42 am: bye jeanette
[HSmom] 8:42 am: K - I'm archiving now.
