This thread is all about those great "Penny Stoves", which are lightweight cook stoves you can easily make out of ordinary soda cans, tuna cans, etc. (I've made several varieties and hybrids!) In an emergency, these little stoves are extremely portable, uses common rubbing alcohol for fuel and are valuable for purifying water by boiling. They are also good for heating foods and limited cooking.
