I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm looking for fairly good directions to build 3 tiered planter beds. Size doesn't matter, or least I don't think it does. I found an article with a picture but no instructions, or materials list.

I just did a google and this thread was about the 4th site down.

Now, all I could find for 3 tiered beds are pictures of flower pots so right now that is all I can come up with. I'll try to remember to ask Oldpine when he gets home if he can help you.

Old pine made raised flower beds for me years ago, but, they are not tiered.

Oh, I just remembered, years and I mean years ago, we got a tiered strawberry bed. It had a bottom frame, that was about 12 -14 inches then came the next layer that was about the same and then one on the top. The bottom one was about 8 -10 foot in diamator. You don't want them to wide or you can't get to the top one. It was like this one.

This is exactly what I have planned to put in the middle of my back yard, with a little path around it and flowers around the outside.

I'm not quite certain how I'm going to construct it yet, but my dad is a mechanic and my brother is a machinist and if we can't figure it out together... no one can! My dad already wants to improve on the idea by putting a fountain in the middle tier, because he thinks it would be "me" to have one.

are you using it for strawberries or flowers?
