Got our ornament in from Mom M.
Being a male, I don't know knit from crochet, wink.gif
but whatever the method used it was very fancy and 19th-century retro.
I felt like a rich person in Victorian times who used fancy hand-crafted ornaments.

Very impressive! I feel spoiled.

Hippie Dad, thank you for your kind remarks about the ornament! Am so glad you like it.

You are right Donna.

The Christmas card exchange list collects names and addresses and is pretty straight forward.

The ornament exchange collects names, addresses, color/theme preferences, etc. That one has a deadline attached to it for mailing out ornaments, etc. If I recall from past years, it has a little more administration time to it than the Card exchange. i.e. monitoring if both sides have mailed and received, etc.
