Momo, I am just waiting until you can do just that. smile.gif

Ann, you did good last week too. smile.gif

I know there are others out there who are walking, just not posting.

Here are some things that count for miles.

These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile.

*********

These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile

*********

STAIRS.jpg will be down and up 10 times = one mile

********

These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile

********

You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. smile.gif

Here are my totals:

Walking 1 1/4
Riding bike 4
Stairs 3
Dishes 1
House Work 2
Laundry 2
Shopping 2
Other 4

Total.......... 19 1/4 miles. smile.gif

Ok, who will be ???

*********

Who is going to join us? smile.gif Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. smile.gif

I have a total of 6 miles and a loss of 2/3 pound. I thought I better start trying to keep track of this part of my life also!
Thanks for the opportunity and place to do so.

You are doing great, Snapshot. smile.gif

I haven't put down what I have lost, as it is a very slow process. But, since I came to Mrs. S. and have been doing the walking thing, about 9 or 10 years ago, I have lost around 25 pounds. I've lost 2 almost 3 sizes for slacks. I feel better and am able to squat and get back up without help now. Just a year ago or so, I was not able to do that. smile.gif And, I'm getting older too. smile.gif smile.gif

I am not able to walk much right now...I have been doing real good for the past week on healthier eating though. I even grilled salmon and made fresh spinach for lunch. Here's hoping I can keep it up.

One of these days you will be able to walk a lot more. smile.gif

It sounds like you are doing good with your eating, a lot better than we are right now. smile.gif bighug2.gif We have been doing a lot of eating out lately. I know that isn't good for us, but, with everything such a mess in here, I don't feel much like cooking. sad.gif We are planning to grill tonight, so I hope it isn't raining, but, it is cloudy and was misting earlier this morning.
