We celebrate CHRISTmas because of Jesus Birth since my kids where small we never told them there was a Santa we give gifts because Jesus gave us the best gift to us. i even know people who make a cake for CHRISTmas for his birthday.
so instead of asking Santa for something i want to ask Jesus for somethings.

Dear Lord,

1. I would like a new place to live with land
2. husband work to get more work
3.husbands pay to come back so we can have a little extra cash stop living pay check to pay check.
4. no more car trouble
5. extra food to have on hand
6 pay off dept faster
7. good husband for my daughters (when they get older its good to ask and pray for this know)
8 good wife for my sons (when they get older its good to ask and pray for this know )

Lord you done so much for me this year. Blessed me with a great husband, wonderful kids, good health for us all. able to pay our bills, good church and great friends. given me a great site as Mrs.Survival with great people on here to help. Lord you hav ealready given me the best gift in all this world your love and salvation. So Lord when your ready and in your time i know you will answer the things i would like to have.

wub.gif S.K. What a lovely post! And what joy we have in knowing the true meaning of Christmas. A time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, the one perfect GIFT that lasts forever.

Early November took out nativity set to look at before setting it aside for display later in December. Got into discussion with dh/ds1 about Christmas season in general. How the birth may not have happened exactly on OUR Dec. 25th, the date we've chosen for special remembrance. How calendars have changed over the centuries and interpretations vary slighty on the date so it's impossible to know exact date on our calendar. But what is important is that we recognize the truth of the event itself. The scripture being clear on a trip to Bethlehem to pay taxes, the virgin birth, the angels announcing glad tidings to the shepherds (indeed to all of us!), God as the Son of Man to redeem all who believe and accept the GIFT of salvation. All that talk led me to mention the wise men. How some scholars believe their visit was when Christ child was few months old rather than in the stable. Of course then the guys started saying in that case, I shouldn't display the wise men in nativity scene. This was all in good humor as they love to seize any opportunity to tease mama. This week a corner table was cleared off and the nativity set displayed. Ds walked by and said "got the wise men out a little early don't ya mama?"

Men!!! frying pan.gif LOL

from bondage to spiritual faith.
from spiritual faith to great courage.
from great courage to liberty.
from liberty to abundance.
from abundance to selfishness.
from selfishness to complacency.
from complacency to apathy.
from apathy to moral decay.
from moral decay to dependence.
from dependence to bondage.
