It's not me! That's the title!

Tired of survival fiction where there's lots of detail about weapons but meals just magically happen? This is a survival story with recipes and lots of food preservation. It's told in the form of a diary so you get the feel of day to day life. It's well written and you may spend too much time reading it so don't start when you have something else you are supposed to be doing!

Kathy has a few stories she is working on right now, all of them have recipes in them and all the stories are good! I am reading that one, (its a Frugal Squirrels site too) and the zombie ones. LOL No wonder there aren't enough hours in my day!

I finally caught up to it and now I am on pins and needles when there isn't one to read. My problem is I really like to read. I have to go back and pick up the recipes periodically.

I am... I agree, it's VERY well done. Kiri is a hoot, and currently I'm just about ready to head over to Florida to whack Rand on the head.... wink.gif

My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. Where you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Ha! Not if I get to him first. Men!! I can't believe he couldn't figure out on his own what he was doing to Kiri. She is too much like me, I swear. Like someone is watching in the windows LOL.

I started reading it at work. Kept going back and forth from working to reading. Not exactly the right thing to do but I have been enjoying it quite a bit. Only about to chapter 18 so far though.

What a great story! I'm hooked. I really should have been doing some homework, but I've been reading all day smile.gif

Wonderful reading! I have been writing down recipes and ideas in a spiral notebook. I am to Chapter 51 but need to go to bed. It is a good thing it has been cold, windy and damp so I could read to my heart's content.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding,
in all of your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
