Here are some things that count for miles.

These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile.

*********

These will be counted as 1 hour = one mile

*********

STAIRS.jpg will be down and up 10 times = one mile

********

These two willl be 30 minutes = one mile

********

You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. smile.gif

Here are my totals:

Walking 1 3/4
Riding bike 6
Stairs 2
Dishes 1
House Work 3/4
Laundry 2
Shopping 3
Other 1
Total.......... 17 1/2 miles. smile.gif

Ok, who will be ???

*********

Who is going to join us? smile.gif Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. smile.gif

Okay. I am going to play. But I am only going to count my running miles since trying to figure everything else up involves too much math for me.

Week of February 8-13

Running - 41 miles

Okay, so I don't run 100 mile weeks anymore but then again I am going to be 53 years old. Just glad I can still run...plus the dog would never forgive me if he didn't get his run. Hum, the things that motivate us, huh. wink.gif

Fast as in I posted as soon as my miles were done for the week, yes. Fast as in how quickly I run anymore, no. But then again it isn't about winning a race but staying the course and staying fit. biggrin.gif

Glad to have you join us, Lindalou. smile.gif

I use to do about 40 a week too, but, haven't done that in some time now. I do need to get back at getting more miles, that is for sure. I'm getting older too, and have you bested by more than 12 years, so guess we have reason to slow done a bit. smile.gif

Between animals and kids, one can really put on the miles. smile.gif
