My daughter is a special ed teacher and requested post it notes that have arrows and say "sign here" for all the paperwork that parents have to sign. Staples carriers them for around $3.00 a package. You don't see them often in other stores.
For general ed teachers, they love the standard post if notes of all sizes and the page flags to mark books for copies to make.
Just thought you would like a low cost idea that teachers really use.

That's a great idea, and as a teacher, yes it would be a great thing to receive! Something else that is cheap and cheerful would be a pack of #2 pencils, since we do a lot of "Scantron" or machine graded tests yuk.gif and that nonsense is only going to get worse. Also I keep telling the kids to invest in the little "first grade pencil sharpeners" since neither the electric one that I have nor the wall mounted manual sharpener work worth a flip.

Also, parents of school age kids: speaking of the machine graded tests, the white polymer erasers do a much better job erasing marks on the Scantrons (answer documents) than the erasers on the pencils. You can get a 3 pack at Wally world for about a dollar. However much it costs, that pack could last your student a very long time. I've had the same one for about 5 years. tongue.gif
