So, DD decided what she and DS were going to be for Halloween in Feb (she told me what she wanted for a birthday theme in May). She was to be a pirate princess and DS was going to be a pirate (her crew, according to her). DH and I were starting to figure out a pattern for a pirate ship to go over the wagon so we could pull them instead of trying to carry them or have them walk.

Today, she tells DH that she is going to be Wendy from Peter Pan, DS is going to be Peter Pan, DH is Captain Hook and I'm to be Tiger Lily . There isn't a Wendy costume anywhere but I should be able to use a simple pj pattern as long as it has an empire waist. Problem can't find one!!!! DS is small and Disney makes a boys peter pan outfit but not toddler. UGH!!!! I need to bop this girl on the head..... I love her and I'm glad she is creative but I need serious help in trying to pull this one together.

Green sweat suit and felt. That is how I make a lot of costumes and I used saftypins so I could reuse the sweat suit. I would look at resale shops for the Wendy outfit.

You can still use that Pirate Ship over the wagon! LOL

Get out the Disney book on it or watch the DVD and you will see that you can make the clothes out of everyday things.
Hit the Thrift shops soon because as it gets closer to Halloween they run out of all the god stuff.
