Just wondering who here has a kindy or other early homeschooler? I'm homeschooling dd (5) for kindergarten right now and teaching some to ds (3). Anyone else here have an early homeschooler?

DD (4) is being homeschooled with a friend's DD (4). I work with DD on her off days with additional school work, phone and address are what they are working on at school so we work on that as well as writing (printing) skills & name, phonics, cutting, pasting, flashcards, counting & # recognition, sign language, etc. DS (2) is doing a little; holding a pencil and tracing lines, coloring, cutting, flashcards, colors, etc. They both really like starfall.com

They both help in the garden (currently under 2 1/2 feet of snow) and learn about the different plants and caring for them, too.

I homeschool our (just turned) 4 year old. We follow more of an unschooling philosophy largely because of her age but also it is what works best with her personality at the moment.
