I feel the less info on me and DH on the internet, the better.
We have an unlisted #, but both of us and our address came up on whitepages dotcom. So far, that seems to be the only website where it's easy to have them remove your info. Whitepages dot com has ads/link to sites with our info, though. I went to one of those sites. To get our info removed, it seems like they want more information than they already have!!
It says their info is from public records. Our county has our deed/mortgage info online; Pennsylvania has a website with Judicial stuff online (every speeding ticket is on there, with all your info, including DOB). We've filled out those change of address cards when we've moved. But, I guess I'm just a little creeped out by it. Anyone else looked at this stuff?

we are in the same boat-
try and keep a low profile but things are out there we can't control.
Not having credit cards or cellphones helps but nowadays it is hard to 'hide'.

Due to the nature of what I do for a living and my volunteer activities, my name is all over the net. The best that I can hope for is that no one puts two and two together for the sole purpose of causing grief. My name and address are listed on a couple of government websites because of a couple of appointments that I hold. At this point in my life, the horse is out of the barn and it would be pretty hard to put it back in...
