One way to use a 16 oz drink can for a new purpose, survival kit, trinket, fishhook keeper.....

there were several other DIY videos involving lighting and other things. Very handy usage of things you may find to recycle for another use.

Thanks for the tips Arby. I believe I'll use some of these as 'projects' for our homeschooled grandson. We usually do history here on Monday's and Thursdays but we also like to do some craft something or other too.

nothing better then recycling things that otherwise would go to the landfill.
Making things at home are also a lot cheaper then buying new in stores.

I recently recycled a bunch of cans and bottles but I still have one bag left and now have a nice set of tin snips but need more steel wool to sand off the paint. I may glean a number of cans soon and fix them into flat pieces and work them over to have them for a later project. I cannot say the hardware store or the cost of sheets of tin or metal would be very cheap and I think this is a good resource to have on hand and need to copy that video instruction for the box formation, as it would be handy for tiny things I have. Provide some storage that way!
There were also some decor type videos using tin cans but I would rather make things useful for every day or as a useful gift.
