Yeah, riiiiight... :shakinghead:

I got an email today saying that I won something from Yahoo. Since it just happens to be the email account attached to my Yahoo, I did a double-take.

BUT... these are clues...

The title lists the winnings with the English pound sign. (Foreign)

You have to open a PDF file. (Even though my email says it was scanned and shows no viruses, I won't do it.)

Well, since the subject of the email included a telephone number to call, I did a search on that number.

Proof that it is a scam/spam popped up immediately.

If you're ever unsure, try to do a search on what it says before opening things up. Set your email setting to NOT open any pictures unless you specifically allow it by clicking on the "allow" button.

Stay safe...

I had someone call the house yesterday saying I'd won something, I can't remember what they said. They said I had entered a contest on line. On line? And they are calling me at home and not emailing me? I never enter contests especially on line. It must be getting desperate out there.

You can't always get what you want, babe

But if you try sometimes, you just might find

You get what you need.
