Being a newbie to the forum, but an oldie to homeschooling, I thought I'd throw this question out here. Not too many people seem to use this program, but it works for us. Fairly academically challenging canned program.....

Happy Homeschooling!

Hi kam

I have used Seton program in the past. It is good because it is so structured. The only thing I didn't like was that it had to much religion in it. I don't think every subject has to be religious based...you know every math problem, every english lesson, every history class, etc.

Hi CoM,

I can see your point. Seton does, though, think that religion should suffuse every subject, because they feel it will keep God at the center of our lives. That being said, I prefer the MCP phonics/math for the earlier grades. I like that they've published the old readers in color - it's more interesting to our tv-infected kids LOL!
