superchargedscience.com is having a free rocketry class Monday 1/23 at 2p central time. There's a list of recycled or common household things needed for the class after you sign up. Some of the items are a used bike inner tube, empty 2 liter, 12" of 1/2" pvc pipe, paper, duct tape and a few other things most people have around the house. There's also an alternate experiment that says you just need paper and a rubber band. We did one on sound a couple of months ago and ds still plays with the noise makers we made. Once you get on the mailing list, there's a free class about once a month. You can get a 1 month trial for $1 during the class. I did this and got a free dvd with some experiments on it.

Amishway - I forgot to share how ours went and ask if you got a chance to do it. Ours went so high that when it came down the nose cone stuck in the ground.

OOOPS! Forgot and now all the boys are doing is thinking of farming. Some get out of school to help on farm - like homeschooling and they get school time for it. We had a few helping when we were putting up sheep fencing right next to the school last week.
