Got a note from CGA. She is alright with neighbors, goats are alright.
Fences are all down water did not get in house, don't know about the chickens .
She needs prayers for health and endurance.

I will pray and hopefully it will stop raining before it does anymore damage.

I didn't know that there was flooding in Texas, either. I will be praying and I hope that they are able to get back home soon. An army of helpers to get those fences back up wouldn't be a bad thing to pray for, either!

Twilight, if you are able to contact her, please keep us posted. And if possible, tell her she and her DD are in our thoughts.
She looked at the wolf with a sweet smile . The wolf asked what was in her basket. `Food for Grandmother`she said..
She then opened her basket and took out a sawn off shotgun.
A few days later she walked through the woods in her new wolfskin furcoat...

Lesson learned, so not mess with girls who are brave enough to go into the woods on their own.

Adding my prayers, too. You're in our thoughts, CGA!

Thank you!
We, the goats and I, are rather shaken and a bit nervous yet. I'm very tired. Daughter didn't realize anything was wrong and seemed to enjoy visiting with the neighbors for several hours.

I lost some of my non-waterfowl birds. One of the dogs was missing several hours but made it home with a slight limp. No water in house, barn or storage trailer so that was good. Main thing is some fences are down and a good bit of debris to clear up. Too muddy right now to get out there, but I have some neighbors that will help get them back up.

We had 6-8 inches in about 3 hours. Lot of flooding around here. Came and went pretty fast though.

Appreciate the prayers.

Please pray the Lord will send a buyer for this place that doesn't mind the flooding every few yrs.

that sounds pretty darn good considering, CGA! Glad you are ok and the dog came back.
