I can't afford to purchase lot's of pretty flowers for the patio this year, so I am going to grow vegetables in my old planters to decorate the patio. I will likely add some perenials from the flowe beds for color. Last year decorating the patio with flowers from the local nursey cost at least $75, so vegetable pots from seed is a much better saving.
