these two little fluffbutts will be visitors in my classroom then come home to join the other chicken family members. Cute, huh? They are Rhode Island Reds. I went to the feed store this afternoon because they got a shipment of 100 chicks...by the time I got there after work...there were 7 Rhode Island Reds left. Last week their shipment sold out in 5 hours. I had wanted to get a black Australorp and a Buff Orphington but I decided to take what I can get because the kiddies are anxiously awaiting.

Adorable! Showed the kids and they loved them, too. Guess I have country kids living in the city.

Awwwwwww.

You can't always get what you want, babe

But if you try sometimes, you just might find

You get what you need.
