I can't believe it has been about a year since I have been here! Life has been so CRAZY!! When I was last here I was having horrible problems with our son and things had not been good in the family because of the trouble with him. We were renting a single wide after loosing our house....just on and on.

I'm happy to be back here and in a better place emotionally. Things started to look like they were going in the right direction with our son around Thanksgiving and as soon as his birthday and Christmas passed he gave me the boot as his mom. I'm better with it than I was. When all of that was going on my Daddy got sick and went into the hospital and almost died. He pulled through and is doing so much better. Mine and Daddy's relationship is so much better and because of that...it really helped me deal with my son turning his back on me. Between my parents, my husband and my children I found my way out of my hole and I'm living. There's not a day that goes by that I don't hurt or miss him, but I have found a way to cope.

About a month ago we found a doublewide that sites on 3 acres about 2 miles from where we were renting. They were leaving the state and offered it to us to rent for the same amt we were paying and said that we could buy it as soon as we got on our feet. This place is awesome!! It's totally fenced in. We have people with goats on one side and people with horses on the other side. We met 4 sets of neighbors in a day. Everyone is so very nice. We are the only people who do not have livestock!!

While I was still unpacking boxes my husband came home and said, "Well, I need to tell you....a man has been calling me about a job. Out of state." I was floored. Here I was neck deep in unpacking. Long story short he has gone down to talk to them twice. This last time he went down he accepted their offer. They are now working out details and going back over the offer...which I don't understand....but husband is confident that it will come through. The offer was too huge to pass up.

So here's how God works......The offer is good enough that I will not or should not have to work. That is huge because my Fibromyalgia is totally out of control. There are FMS specialist in the area down there. My son has Dyslexia and I can not get help for him here in our state because our state does not accept Dyslexia as a reading disability. The other state that we would live in does and I've already been told they will make accomodation for him!!

At this point we are just waiting to get the go ahead then we will put in our notices at work and tell the kids. So I'm now going to run off and read up and catch up on everything and everyone!!

Hard to believe we haven't heard from you in a year. So happy things are working out for you and yours. Hope everything falls in place for an easy move and good neighbors in the new area.

Lord works in mysterious ways huh? Good luck with all the changes and I hope your son can get help with his dyslexia.

wow, you have been under a LOT this past year. Don't give up on son. Give him time to grow up and learn a few things. Mom will start looking smarter and better every year. But it might take a while. Just pray for him in the meantime cuz...he realllly can't make you stop being his mom. Might not have contact with him but.....

Welcome back!!
