Yes Virginia there IS A GOD!

And here is the true story to prove it.

this past Tuesday was the last day of School for the Amish in this community and they always have a fun day of the kids doing skits and singing songs then going outside for a picnic where Family members can come and see what the kids have done and eat with them. After the picnic the kids go over to the play area and have a big baseball game or jump rope or any of many things while the Adults that are there sit around and watch the game and talk about what is going on like farming, canning, quilting whatever.

BUT………………………………

When the 13 year old Amish girl can up to bat, GOD WAS THERE!

She missed the first pitch, strike one.

She missed the second pitch, strike two

As she gripped the bat and watched the pitcher get ready to throw the ball she just fell over and hit the ground with a thud! At first the kids thought she was just playing but the way she hit the ground some of the Adults knew it was more than that. Some thought she had passed out from all the food and playing but when the teacher came over to her and touched her she wasn't breathing and had no pulse. The Teacher Screamed and one of the men there came running over to where she lay and after turning her over know just what to do. He started CPR and told the Teacher to have someone call 911. When the ambulance got to the Hospital the Doctors there said she should be dead but doing CPR so fast after the massive Heart Attack had saved her Life as well as having the ambulance getting to her so fast with life support !

End of story and GOD IS GOOD!

BUT WAIT…………………………………………………………..

* IF she had been ANYWHERE else in the school yard, but up at bat, nobody might have seen her fall over!

* IF that father (another family) had been at work (like he planned) instead of siting 10 feet from her – no CPR

(by the way the Amish have 2 people in each community become EMT certified just for times like this!)

*there was only 1 phone in the area for ALL the Amish to use. AND it was in the barn right next to the school.

* 911 dispatch was able to have the local ambulance there in seconds the local ambulance house is 4 miles away!

*IF she had not been at the school but home she could have been anywhere when it happened and nobody would know to look for her until it was too late.

So…………………………………

Yes Virginia there IS A GOD!

AND HE IS GOOD!

With all that could have been played out in differant ways there is no way you can say GOD didn't have his hand in this!

Praise a Loving God for saving that child!

From what we can gather, now home with a defibrillator and recuperating.

* First thing she wanted to know was IF she struck out or got a hit!

Only a kid would be more worried about that then having a heart attack.

Good one, AH!! Wow...that girl and her loved ones are going to be savoring this event for years to come. When you see His presence and protection right in front of your eyes, it just has many affects on us...permanantly.

And she will have to learn to lean heavily on Him if she's having heart trouble at age 13. OR...He might heal her completely.
