I buy the Sunday paper and always have more uses for the black and white pages than I do pages. I've been told not to use the glossy color pages in the garden (where a lot of the paper ends up). So what can I use the glossy pages for?

We don't have kids or pets. I'm not particularly crafty, but if there's something useful I can create, I'm ready to learn.

Normally I put them with our recycling, but there's gotta be something I can do with all this paper. I feel like I miss an opportunity every week.

Shred them up, in paper shredder or by hand using a paper cutter, and use in baskets for gift giving?
Lots of shiny colors and it would be hard to see which ads were used. Crinkle them up before putting in bottom with gifts on top. In stores that paper would cost you $$$$. So you are recycling AND saving money too!

That same paper 'shreded up' could also be used for packing material if you are sending a package somewhere?
