Good afternoon!

The weather here is very nice. The past few days were very humid. Today isn't humid at all. There's a nice, cool breeze coming in through the windows.

My new Speed Queen washer was delivered this morning. :cele: So I'm slowly working on getting things soaked in vinegar and then washed in the new "safe" washing machine! I think this was a good choice over the used ones as I don't have to be concerned about any kind of scented detergent residues.

I have some grass-fed ground beef in the fridge. After DH gets home from work, he'll grill us burgers for supper. I have to pick some lettuce from the garden. I really like getting my lettuce from the back yard instead of the grocery store!

It was a beautiful sunrise, the day progressed amazingly without any snags. Even made it in and out of the motor vehicle department in 5 minutes! :thumbs:

Then, I ran an errand, came home to find....

Last night our town had a house fire. I mentioned, "I hope it is not anyone we know." It was. An elderly gentleman, he lost everything. DH is taking him to the ER to have his burns looked at. :sad-smiley-012:

Our fire department is not efficient enough to put out a fire before it destroys everything. :motz_6: :soapbox:

A fire is so destructive to body soul and mind..........

Awww, Annarchy, that is so sad. But I am glad DH is taking him in to be seen. That was very kind and he needed help for that.

our Wednesday................................
After a few days of rain it was nice to be able to work out in the gardens again. Also much cooler out after hot days beginning of week.
Lots of running around trying to get things done before the weekend - another Outdoor Flea Market to do so hoping for nice weather.
