Honey Bees

In the garden there's one volunteer melon plant. I left it just to see what develops. While picking beets this morning I looked over at it and there were 4 honey bees at the blossoms. For the last few years we've seldom seen honey bees so seeing 4 on one plant was a wonderful thing.

Great news, Dee! We hadn't seen many honey bees in a long time. This year, we are seeing a lot of everything!! Birds, bees, flies...you name it! I think it is because the winter was so mild.

Same here!
we are seeing a more and more as we pick for Market this year then in the past. They must like the 'dry' weather we are having because I am NOT!
