My tomato recipe calls for lemon juice to increase the acidity. Can I substitute lime juice?

I assume that it is what she has on hand, Michael. Dontcha just hate it when you're making something and realize that you're missing an ingredient?

Yep, no lemon juice, only lime available. I don't live close enough to anything to run to the store for that. Closest was 7 miles away and they didn't have lemon juice. Next is another 10 miles.

Actually, I usually have lemon juice on hand. If I forget to pick up lemon juice, who's to say I won't forget to order the citric acid as needed. I was just wondering if in a pinch, I could use lime juice.
