Neighbors brought me a pony to mow the lawn. They said he's mine if I want him, but he isn't trained. Trying to decide if I want to try to train a pony to drive. Not sure I have the time or energy right now. Nice pony though. He'll keep my new buck company in the paddock.

LOL, I think my friend has decided she wants him. She's going to bring me a wether to be friends with my new buck. She thinks pony needs looking after and she's probably right.

LOL, Martian. You should have a pony of your own.
I didnt realize how very thin this little guy is. My friend is picking him up friday and running him by a vet before taking him home. She has several horses, donkeys, llamas and goats so he'll be right at home.

Yeah, he does need some groceries. Grass will do him fine, 'less he has worms or something. Cute!
Will friend be bringing your buck Friday....or different friend? If you have time/energy for training, your buck and wether can pull a cart! Wouldn't be able to haul you and DD on BugOut tho probably.

She still has to go get Buckwheat down in Bandera so she won't be bringing him yet. I still have fencing to do. Just been too hot and sunny for me to work. Can't be in the sun because it makes sores that take months to heal. So been doing house work instead.
I think pony probably just needs feeding, but friend is gagga crazy 'bout horses and thinks she can take better care of them than me. I really wanted him to eat more of this grass first.
